At this time there are:
Two patron saints for mill workers (St. Arnulph and St. Victor)
Two patron saints for candlemakers (St. Ambroise and St. Bernard of Clairvaux)
A saint for archers (St. Sebastian)
One for gravediggers (St. Antony)
One for bricklayers (St. Stephen)
One for brushmakers (St. Anthony)
And one for lighthouse keepers (St. Dunstan)

and NONE for iPods, global warming or microwave ovens.
NONE for mountain bikers, brunch waiters or virtual reality.
(There are three patron saints for lawyers , St. Genesius, St. Ivo and St Thomas More, but that's still probably not enough.)

Register today as a patron saint. It's easy, fun and your opportunity to help your friends as you help yourself. After a couple of miracles, you could be on your way to being a fully ordained, fully canonized saint, with your own special feast day and your own public cult.

The meek may inherit the world but they don't get Universities (St. John's), Cities (St. Louis) or Waterways (St. Lawrence Seaway) named after them!
